Description:
As a senior Project Manager, you have over 5 years of experience in managing (a portfolio of related) projects and their value streams :
- You create the business case and other relevant factors.
- You manage the (project) team and all relevant stakeholders towards the defined objectives;
- You work with development teams to size the objectives and provide input for prioritization;
- You create the estimates for the execution of the project plan, product deliveries, milestones, metrics;
- You identify the risks and manage the related contingency plans;
- You track the progress, follow up on the schedules and mitigate slippages;
- You ensure that the necessary environment (hardware and software) is available for the project.

Epic Owner – PowerCenter Replacement Program
We are about to embark a very important modernization within our organization: replacing the current on premise ETL software being Informatica PowerCenter with a modern, future-proof data integration platform. This multi‑year program spans more than 10,000 man‑days and impacts every Agile Release Train across KBC,
You define the vision, guide execution across multiple Agile Release Trains, and ensure alignment between business goals and technical requirements.
That’s why we are looking for a driven, visionary, and entrepreneurial Epic Owner to lead this strategic program.

As Epic Owner, you are:
• The architect of the vision: defining how we evolve from PowerCenter to a future-ready data integration solution.
• The connector: bridging business, IT, architects, engineers, and Agile teams.
• The driver: ensuring a clear roadmap, aligned priorities, and visible progress.
• The ambassador of change: guiding teams through the transition and fostering adoption and collaboration.
What you will do
• Lead the vendor selection process, including RFI/RFP preparation, evaluation, and decision-making in collaboration with procurement and architecture teams.
• Define the strategic vision an drive the migration roadmap of replacing the legacy with the target tool.
• Develop epics, business cases, KPIs, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize, align, and facilitate PI Planning.
• Coordinate dependencies across teams and ARTs.
• Collaborate closely with architects, product managers, scrum masters, data engineers, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure a controlled, secure, and value-driven migration.
• Ensure compliance with data quality, security, and governance standards.
• Support change management and communication efforts.

• Have experience in data integration, ETL, or modern data platforms.
• Bring knowledge of PowerCenter and/or cloud data engineering technologies (a plus!).
• Navigate easily in a SAFe/Agile\@scale environment.
