Mission:
Within a project and/or product team, you will be required, in the context of mainly ammunitions and launchers, to specify, design, develop, validate and qualify mechanical parts. You will face a variety of challenges in multiple areas.
Main Responsibilities:
路 Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement)
路 Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs
路 Develop testing processes, perform testing and verification of designs
路 Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstrations
路 Perform engineering calculations to support the design work
路 Evaluate final product'檚 overall performance, reliability and safety
路 Create and review technical drawings, plans and specifications
路 Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and work with sub-contractors
路 Perform detailed documentation to track the project development and design process
路 Ensure the project timeline is met and that the project stays within its budget, estimation of said budget and the scope of project
路 Provides support for industrial methods, drawings, production and quality departments
Profile:
路 Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience
路 Min 3-5 years of experience working in engineering
路 Good understanding of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products
路 Excellent math skills: ability to apply advanced mathematical principles to solve problems
路 Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., ProE or other)
路 Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
路 Must be self-motivated and a great team worker
路 Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to team members
路 Customer satisfaction and results oriented
路 Fluent in French and in English (professional capacity)
路 Large advantage with knowledge in plastic stamping/processing
