About the Role

A leading company in the railway infrastructure and engineering sector is looking for an experienced ECM/DMS IT Business-Functional Analyst to support a major digital transformation program focused on Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Document Management Systems (DMS).

You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping define business needs, gather requirements, and ensure the successful delivery of document management solutions across multiple technologies.

Responsibilities

• Gather, validate, and document business requirements
• Analyze data and functional requirements
• Support data migration and data cleansing activities
• Assist in implementing data governance practices
• Model business processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Create functional specifications and user stories
• Support Agile/Scrum product planning and backlog management
• Participate in solution implementation and testing
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews
• Ensure solutions meet business and non-functional requirements
• Support operational deployment and change management

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on DMS/ECM projects
• Experience with:
  • Document Management Systems
  • Autodesk Forma / Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Agile methodologies (Scrum, User Stories)
  • UML / BPMN modelling using Visual Paradigm
• Experience in the engineering sector is highly preferred
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication abilities
