Data Engineer | Railway & Transport Infrastructure Industry

We are looking for a passionate Data Engineer to join a dynamic and agile team within the railway and transport infrastructure sector. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining modern data solutions on the Microsoft Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data collection, storage, transformation, and delivery solutions using Azure technologies
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, Python scripts, Spark notebooks, and ETL/ELT pipelines
• Build and deploy BI solutions using Microsoft BI Suite technologies
• Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders
• Contribute to data architecture, modeling, and documentation
• Ensure data quality, security, and performance standards
• Maintain and monitor data solutions in production environments

Profile

• 5–9 years of relevant experience
• Master’s degree in IT or Data-related field
• Strong analytical mindset and communication skills
• Autonomous and proactive team player

• Dutch & English (minimum C1 level)
• French is a plus
