Launched in 2021, Sparagus MSP provides smart, cost-effective hiring solutions.

Sparagus launched its Managed Service Provider division in 2021 to handle outsourced recruitment as a managed programme rather than as a series of placements.
What the MSP model covers:
The underlying shift is from buying candidates to delegating a process. A company works with one point of contact instead of coordinating several agencies itself, which is where the administrative saving comes from — and why the model needs enough volume to be worth its overhead.
It takes over the management of a company's recruitment and contingent workforce processes as an external provider, acting as a single point of contact. Instead of the company coordinating several staffing agencies itself, the MSP coordinates them and is accountable for how the process runs.
Every stage of the process: initial job posting, candidate sourcing, interviews, selection and onboarding. The intent is to free internal resources so they can focus on core operations, rather than to add a coordination layer on top of the work the internal team is already doing.
Mainly through consolidation rather than cheaper candidates: strategic vendor management, consolidated invoicing, rate standardisation and economies of scale across suppliers. The saving comes from removing duplication, blind spend and over-payment, which is why it depends on having enough suppliers for that duplication to exist.
The model scales in principle from a single position to a large campaign. In practice it earns its overhead when there are enough suppliers and requisitions that coordination is itself a real cost. Below that threshold, working with individual agencies is usually simpler and cheaper.
An agency finds candidates and is typically paid per placement. An MSP manages the process and the supplier ecosystem around it, which makes it accountable for how hiring runs overall rather than for any individual hire. The two are complementary: an MSP usually manages agencies rather than replacing them.
A clear baseline: which suppliers are in use, what is actually being spent, and how many requisitions run per year. Without that starting picture there is nothing to measure improvement against, which is the most common reason MSP programmes struggle to demonstrate their value later on.
